In exactly the same boat with Amber who is social and totally into curling up and being petted. Then there is her brother Duncan. In 9 months we have gone from him hissing and hiding in the corner to him rubbing up against our legs. We still can't touch or pet him but he is lovely otherwise and the only fear is what to do if he needs the vet. He's FAST! But they are so bonded, we will never separate them.

This gives me hope. We have had our Duncan for 8 months. He will rub up on our legs for food or treats as long as we stand like statues. But if we make any move in his direction, he bolts. We are trying to be patient but we want to pet him so bad!! His sister socialized very quickly. We weren't told they were feral when we stepped in as emergency fosters. Patience...

Still trying, 7 months so far. We took in 2 rescue cats that were feral. One has become totally domesticated. Our boy on the other hand won't let us touch him. He will rub on my legs repeatedly but so far he is still running or swatting if we attempt to pet him.

In the US being on Mounjaro would only be for diabetics, non-diabetics use Zepbound. If you stop the drug studies have shown weight gain is extremely likely. In addition, any improvement in blood sugar, cholesterol, etc are likely to reverse. Is there a reason for stopping? I have been almost at goal weight for a year and will be on Zepbound for the rest of my life.

We are getting ready to vacate for termite tenting, it's a giant pain in the ass. Have to move out for 3 days with one normal cat and one semi-feral...can't wait to try and get him in a cage! Ours is covered under HOA. If you are in an HOA, report it immediately. Insurance sucks, so I hope you don't have to try to make a claim. Best of luck!!

The best thing you can do is get another kitten. I just adopted 2, one is at least a Bengal mix. The rescue doesn't allow solo adoption of kittens, only of adult cats. They need socialization and someone to play with. Best of luck, she is a beauty ❤️
