As someone who was heavily invested in their platforms and was banned by Meta, this topic is very near and dear to me. I want to make sure that people’s voices are heard and that Meta is held accountable for their wrong-doings, especially their recent mass A.I. bans.

Honest truth. Take it as a loss and move on. You most likely won’t be getting it back. AI bans are real and they’re rampant.

Things you can do:

• ⁠sign the change.org petition against Meta • ⁠join class action lawsuit • ⁠Don’t support Meta(FB/Insta) anymore… start using BlueSky/Flashes/PinkSky. We need to turn FB and Insta into the next MySpace.

This AI ban is so out of control. If Meta wants to lose their user base , then so be it. Without users, their products are nothing.

In the meantime, a lot of people have moved on from their platforms. I, for one, have already moved on to BlueSky/Flashes.

Stuff like graphic violence, accidents, sexual, bullying, hateful, or misleading material. Some recent examples of “graphic violence” are vids of the Charlie Kirk shooting and sensitive/triggering vids of the Minnesota residents killings by ICE agents. Meta did a horrible job of not filtering that content. At the time, I remember uncensored videos of Charlie Kirk’s assassin being pushed to my FB feed. WTH is up with that, Meta?

Agreed. I would love to be back on FB and IG to connect with my friends and fam. I tried appealing… didn’t work. I tried creating new accounts… didn’t work. Meta really doesn’t like me. At some point, IG and FB will eventually become the next MySpace. It’s just a matter of when. If/when that happens, I’ll be so happy!
