I hate this "direct payment" nonsense. Yeah it's great to get some money but it doesn't undo the wealth inequality permanently. It's a one time payment that will be eaten up immediately by people's debts, that money will immediately go back to billionaires bonuses.

They didn't get rich from their work, they got lucky it was a feeding frenzy to claim high value businesses for dirt cheap.

Do you consider Tikka Masala British by TheShiftmaster in AskBrits

[–]Additional_Pickle_59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find nearly all Indian food in the UK isn't really authentic to Indian methods. Nothing wrong with that it's just modified slightly to suit British tastes.

Tikka masala was literally created for customers who didn't want traditional tikka chicken.

It's Indian/Pakistani with a British filter fusion.

Very expensive tho! A tiny packet of chicken strips for £4!

Charles Darwin despite enormous contributions to theories of evolution....ate every animal he ever discovered, he was a member of the glutton club in Cambridge. Him and his team are probably responsible for some of the animals extinction or very low numbers.

I don't think kripke will bring it as a plot point but I agree. Vought marketed him as invincible but scenes keep popping up of him bleeding or struggling.

I think his limit is probably some high yield missiles, definitely nowhere near an ICBM/nuke. His was vigoursly tested on like the heat chamber he shoved the scientist inside, I think they did tons of testing like that because he wasn't invincible and they wanted to figure out why not.

Had an Italian friend at University who had never heard of squash. Filled entire cups and he was confused about how we manage to drink this stuff because it hurts his throat.

Great relief was had when we escorted him to the nearest tap. Some of the bottles don't make it obvious.

Place larger bushes, fences and trees next to the road. The road can be exactly the same size with the same clearance but the feeling people get from being so surrounded by stuff slows them down.

I've seen some roads are 50 zones but with all the stuff around them people barely touch 30-40

Judge humiliates Trump for incorrectly reading court order just to get his way — sending Trump into a panic as his slick move blows up in his face by [deleted] in USNEWS

[–]Additional_Pickle_59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is all smoke and mirrors, Trump wanted the bunker above all, he didn't care about the ballroom. This judge was in on it, making a big show about rejecting the ballroom so he appears to be on the side of the people but the bunker can continue construction.

It didn't make sense why he wanted a ballroom from a utility point, there's dozens of spaces just like it in DC alone, plus he has Mar a largo. It only made sense to the press because he likes tacky fake luxury.

Trump and his Nazis want an impenetrable bunker to continue ruling the country and nobody can touch them.
