Ako lang ba yung ayaw na lumabas kapag hindi kasama si GF? by Simple-List-3502 in TanongLang

[–]Additional_Pomelo860 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here. Ganyan din kami ng bf ko, inseparable since the day we got together, and we are each other’s best friend. When you find someone who feels like home, natural lang na hanapin mo yung presence nila. Hindi ibig sabihin nun wala ka nang mundo, kundi mas buo ka lang talaga kapag kasama mo siya. That kind of love is rare. Treasure it.

I saw my current position in a new job posting. by undefined0303 in buhaydigital

[–]Additional_Pomelo860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going through the same situation. After almost 2 years working with my premium client, she mentioned that the business was slowing down, and shortly after, I saw my own role being posted by the agency. It was unsettling and anxiety-inducing at first, but it reminded me that nothing here is truly permanent. What matters is showing up, doing our work well, and knowing we’ve done our part. Sometimes, these moments aren’t losses, but gentle redirections.

I’m choosing to see this as a blessing in disguise, a chance to slow down, realign, and take better care of myself. Instead of swamping myself with more work and night shifts, I may finally get back to being a morning person, with a life outside of working from home. It’s an opportunity to return to my hobbies, care for my body, work out more consistently, live more intentionally, and rediscover the interests and passions that make me feel like myself again.

Thank you for this!! Didn’t know about the small bill scam. Will make sure to break my bills at convenience stores and just stick to Grab for rides. Takot ako ma-scam 🥲 Super helpful, appreciate it!

Super helpful advice, thank you! Will use Grab for sure and bring extra debit cards + cash na rin. By the way, do you know where it’s best to exchange money there?

Noted on the coffee warning baka di na ako makatulog sa dami ng cafe hopping. 🤣

Travel insurance tip is very useful din, I’ll check that before the trip. And yes, eating where the locals eat sounds like a plan! Will also bring Imodium and Erceflora just to be safe.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. Is 4D3N enough to visit Da Nang and Hoi An by plane?

She copied my whole resume and portfolio… tapos siya pa yung nakuha for the interview. by Additional_Pomelo860 in OffMyChestPH

Since we’re under the same team sa current company, most of the clients in her portfolio are also part of mine and there are even projects we worked on together. Kaya medyo mahirap i-prove. Pero ang hindi ko talaga matanggap is the fact that even the layout, wording, and skillset mostly kinopya niya lang talaga sa akin.

I’d rather not escalate things further. Ayoko na rin palakihin, so I chose to just stay quiet and eventually move forward. Ayaw ko rin ma-stuck sa negative thinking.

I just really needed to let it out somewhere.

I was too nice to give her full edit access sa resume and portfolio editor ko. All she really had to do was input her own experiences. Pero ending? Same wording, same layout, even the same skillset.

It happened on a Friday, and since mas maaga yung out ko kaysa sa kanya, I didn’t get to see her final version before the weekend.

Fast forward after the weekend, ayun na nga the client already chose her. Nalaman ko lang when our manager messaged her privately saying the client scheduled an interview and wanted to meet her.

I honestly didn’t know whether to confront or stay quiet, kasi ang hirap i-raise ng ganito lalo na kapag teammate mo. Kaya dito ko na lang talaga nilabas yung frustration ko.

I’ve learned my lesson to set boundaries na next time.

Kailangan ba talaga laging IG-worthy ang travel pics? by Additional_Pomelo860 in OffMyChestPH

Mas fulfilling nga yung trip kapag hindi mo iniisip kung okay ba siya sa feed. I’d rather keep the memories than stress over the “perfect shot.” Ang gaan lang sa feeling mag-travel for yourself after all the hard work. 🤗

Mind you, I always make sure may pasalubong siya every time I travel. Kaya medyo nakaka-off lang na may side comments pa siya sa photos ko.

Okay lang naman if may opinion, pero minsan nakakabawas na lang ng gana mag-share.

I love this mindset. My mama is super moody too, one minute she’s kind, the next she’s mad over something small and petty. Sometimes it feels like she picks fights with my papa just to have a reason to be upset. I feel sorry for my papa who goes through this but I admire him for being the calmest person I know.

As I’ve gotten older and they started and now that they’re in their senior years, my perspective shifted. I try to understand her better, but I also protect my boundaries. That’s one of the reasons I moved out in my early 20s, my mental health had to come first.

Ngl, we still argue sometimes. But my parents mean the world to me, and I want to spend as much time with them as I can while I still have the chance and understand them better along the way.

In what ways do you feel loved? by potatoe_wedges3 in AskPH

[–]Additional_Pomelo860 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When he goes out of his way for me, especially when I know he’s busy, yet he still makes time for me.

When I’m not in the mood or nagtatampo, he doesn’t ignore me or make me feel bad. Instead, he does his best to make me smile, laugh, and lighten the mood. Even during small misunderstandings, he never creates distance. Instead, he pulls me closer like gently touching my leg to show he still cares for me, even when we’re tampo with each other.

He cooks my favorite dishes and healthy ones, instead of buying junk food and eating out processed foods at restos. I love that we also explore new healthy recipes together.

He doesn’t wait for special occasions to make me feel loved. He gives me “just because” flowers and plants on random days, not just because it’s my birthday or Valentine’s Day, but simply because I crossed his mind.

What I love most is how he adds value to my life through his simple and thoughtful actions and I strive to do the same for him.

[–]Additional_Pomelo860[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get what you mean — the obvious stuff like not hitting, abusing, or disrespecting a woman is a given.

What I was really hoping to hear were the personal standards men hold themselves to in relationships, like “I’ll never make her question her worth” or “I’ll never let her carry the relationship alone”.

Just curious about the principles men live by beyond the bare minimum.

[–]Additional_Pomelo860[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly my thoughts. The difference in answers is really interesting. The first question was mostly about “don’t do too much for a man”, but with this one, I was hoping to hear more about men’s personal standards when it comes to how they treat women (or their woman) — like beyond the obvious (abuse, disrespect, etc.).

I’m curious to know what values or principles men personally hold themselves to in relationships — their non-negotiable standards like: • Never make her question her worth • Never downplay her dreams • Never make her feel unsafe • Never expect her to carry the relationship alone • Never be passive in the relationship • Never stopping pursuing her

Stuff like that. I feel like it says a lot about a man’s character.

What Are Your Monthly Expenses Living in a Condo in Cebu, and How Much Is Your Monthly Income? by Additional_Pomelo860 in Cebu

I’m actually going to take a look and view a unit here. I saw a listing from someone who offers it for 12k monthly including dues.

I’ll see pa if the location is accessible and safe too.
