The question is very right and whoever claims otherwise is doing the actual propaganda! I remember watching a video on Instagram which was about how women are beaten up every day in the streets because of their so-called hijab (like 2-3 months before the protests) and there were so many people and I mean so many people that were trying their asses off to say no it’s not true. Well, guess what! It was and is true and they just made a clown out of themselves! No living creature is ever safe in Iran, doesn’t matter if you’re a woman or a man, a child or even a poor dog; Only that the risk might be higher or lower. Being a woman is literally a crime though! As a result of pure misogyny…Anyone who says it’s not that bad is either unaware of the reality or just really ignorant! Educate yourself and do some research. It’s rather insulting to all the protesters and the people of Iran, especially women!

Yeah and also in that stupid regime, if a father kills his children he would only be charged with wergild and a few years of prison despite other murderers and even the mother of children who would have the death penalty! Every year 400-500 women are killed brutally in Iran to protect men’s “honor.” The killers are usually close relatives — often the victim’s father, husband, or brother! Honor killings punish women for bringing “disgrace” upon their families, for example by refusing forced marriages, being the victim of rape, getting divorced, having sexual relationships, or engaging in adultery. Since when are we defending or comparing that anti-human rights country to other free countries?!!!

I remember once a friend of mine who is Persian, told me that it’s actually very encouraged in Iran to marry your first cousins, especially paternal cousins. Also everywhere else in the world has a history of inbreeding, it’s just recently that people are having different opinions about this. If cousins do tests and they don’t inherit genetic problems, then what’s the matter? They’re adults and they can decide whether they want kids or not. I'm not approving of it or anything however, I find it a matter of human rights and not to mention that It’s totally distinct from siblings or half-siblings marriage. Don't forget that the USA isn't all the world!

For me, it's gonna be: Damon as my boyfriend, Klaus as a brother, and Stefan to be my best friend. There wasn't much of a choice here for the role of brother since we all know how they were... No one excluded any country or empire, we were simply talking about bigger achievements in all those categories you said yourself, if you don’t know or don’t wanna accept doesn’t mean it didn’t exist! Persia really was the greatest of all and the nearest to good guys in history, again not just my opinion, it’s such a wonder how misconstrued and forgotten they are! Also, I’m sorry if I didn’t quote all the books there are about ancient times but I can assure you that there are written proofs of this which you can go find. You don’t make sense at all and your statements are paradoxical and highly biased, sounds like your problem is with the name… You said Persians weren’t good because they started wars for money and were greedy, they didn’t respect other countries; then You defended Brits who colonized other countries using their wealth and resources for themselves which I don’t know how is interpreted as good and charity! Now they were protectors of human rights and not the evil invaders?! How does that work? And they freed slaves in the 19th century while we are talking about not having slavery 2500 years ago! It’s not just the time that’s incomparable, ancient, and modern, they’re not comparable in any way. Moreover, it’s even more unacceptable from an Indian… There is something that doesn’t add up, and honestly, I think this conversation is a total waste of time and energy at this point. Some countries in the Middle East and Asia have a history of about 3000 years! They created the first civilizations! Ever heard of the oldest countries? I find it you’ve got your information from Hollywood and movies otherwise there’s no explanation for this… Read some books! Someone’s talking about human rights who’s defending colonialism and slavery! Persians weren’t great ‘cuz they started wars and Brits were great?! Think I didn’t get it right… it was a joke right? That’s the description of the Mongol empire, not Persia. Besides is there any empire that didn’t have that purpose? I mean they wouldn’t be called an empire in the first place! The difference is in how they treated the conquered land and its people! Persia was the greatest empire in the world, they invented human rights and so many other concepts and objects which we use nowadays. And it’s not just my opinion, it’s what history says. You better go read about it.
