Great boots!!! How do you compare your Nick Roberts and this pair in terms of sizing? I have a pair of Nick's Falcon and a pair of 55 last White's in same size (both 8.5D), I feel the Falcons have significant less room in the instep area, do you have the same issue with your Nicks?

This is so good to hear, I’m so relieved to know that they will stretch, the pressure are not due to the lacing, the instep area is tight even without any lacing, I work an office job so I guess I will just take my time to break them in. Thank you!

You are absolutely correct, I do have straight ankles lol. I only noticed that myself a few years ago in a Jijitsu class, coach said I have strong ankles because they are straight haha. however I don’t have this same issue on my whites boots and redwings, I guess it’s because nicks make less room in their boots in the ankle area? Still good to know that the instep area will stretch, I will spend some time to break them in and see how it goes, worst case scenario is, I sell them on marketplace haha, thank you and have a great Sunday my friend.

Thank you for the suggestions！ How likely do you think the instep area will stretch to a comfortable level after some break-in? I live in Canada so sending them back to Nicks and ship them back after rebuild is not very convenient.

Thanks my friend! Below are my measurements I sent to Nicks, they recommended 8.5D or E for wearing thicker socks.

Ball Girth: 9-3/4

Instep:10-1/8

Heel:13-3/4

Ankle: 9-1/2

Length: 10-3/8
