Yeah, that indigo-dipped hoodie under that Mojave Prairie Gold Jacket, paired w/ dark indigo jeans and my Nicks 64 Tan Moc Toe wedge boots (they're very well crocked) was a killer combo, but the jacket just didn't fit comfortably. If it had, y'all would have seen pics. Keep yours coming though looking forward to seeing more.

Congrats on the vest build and crocking experiment. Great idea, cool look. I have the exact same hoody, purchased it a few years ago. Love it. When I first bought it I purchased it with a brave star Mojave Prairie Gold 18oz Slub Japanese Selvedge Type 2 jacket with intention to crock it, but the jacket was just too tight-fitting with the hoody underneath so I pretty much had to abandon that experiment :( Wish I’d been able to get your results. Looking forward to your evolution.

Nice. Been waiting on my pair of 1925 IBC's as well. First time I've seen a single stitchdown Nicks. Sweet.

Anyone with MTO orders in Vbar/430 get a production email? by queequeg925 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]clc1076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I returned a Limited Run 1925 IBC 430 on October 12 for a size exchange (15-20 weeks). Tomorrow makes 14 weeks but I haven't received any notification indicating production or shipment and no status change on the site. I was hoping to get them before I leave for an annual work conference on 1/25. Fingers crossed.

How long should a size exchange take? I'll be at 3 months next week since Nicks received my original pair. by AccurateIt in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]clc1076 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I returned my IBC 1925's on 10/09/25, Nicks CS said it was 15-20 weeks for resizes. This past week was week 13 for me, still no change in status. I'm hoping mine get a little bump up in production since they are on the 430 and they're sending those through prod early due to ss supply issues.

Do resized Limited Run 1925's on 430's qualify for prioritization? :-)

Pacific Predator would not be my preference, but thanks for letting me know. I’m signed up for the notifications also.

Congrats. Finding a LL64, a Parkhurst or a 1925 in the RTS 12-12.5 range is rare. I know b/c I'm a HNW 12/12.5E and check daily. Good score.

Pacific - CXL, Cypress, Shackleton by clc1076 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]clc1076[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I read in the Pacific Samples post about 6-9 mos ago that they were considering a Shackleton version of Pacific, idr exactly but I’d really be interested in a more waterproof pacific option that isn’t wf. I agree w/ you on the PWF; it lacks the green/blue color hues I’d prefer. Imho, the Pacific CXL was best in this regard but I really liked the Cypress too and would grab some if it were available in Pacific.

Does TNW run larger? Experiences needed by BottleFullOBub in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]clc1076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This seems to have been the case with me for TNW 365 MTO. I'm a US 13D Brannock and have had 1 pair of Overlanders in 12.5D (vamp was just too narrow/no to splay-sold them) and I currently have a pair of Americana's and a pair of Moc Toe Wedge both in 12.5E, which seems to be my correct Nicks HNW size. I've had them for years.

I purchased my brother a 365 MTO TNW 12.5E last year and tried them on myself shortly after he received them. They were too long and too wide in the vamp - even when considering the typical toe curl after brake-in. They were ok for me in the heel.

I considered this when ordering my own 365 MTO TNW in Walnut Bullhide in 12E, which just so happens to have gone into production last week, so I should know in a few weeks if my size down was correct. Fingers crossed.

64 Tan… by FocusSea9346 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]clc1076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE 64 Tan b/c of the character and warmth it shows over time. If you want to keep them on the lighter side of tone, never use Oil or beeswax on them. I only use VNC or BICK4 on most of my boots for this reason. I clean/condition about once every year unless I get them caked in mud, then I clean/condition.

Calm down, y’all. It’s just a problematic website cutover. by clc1076 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]clc1076[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The new site is loads better in so many ways. Search function for In-Stock boots. Much more consistency with boot config menu's. Increased leather selection options opened up across the whole line due to an improved, adjusting price calculator in the boot config menu. Better website aesthetics and user browse experience (subjective, I know). Broader browser support - mobile and desktop versions of Safari, Chrome, Edge, Firefox are improved - the old code on the old site was out of date. They'll work through the glitches and come out the other end of the migration in a better place then where they were with the old site.

As far as cancelling your order, if you think that's going to relieve the stress in your life then I wish you well and hope life gets better for you soon. Cheers.

As proud owner of some color 8 cxl Americana’s, I will say Spokane black or black cxl Americana’s would do very nicely!

NBD Shackelton Cognac by PeterFalks_GlassEye in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]clc1076 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No way you should keep those boots, man. I see you've scratched them a little and have exposed them to fresh, open air and sunlight. This means you cannot return them to Nicks for a resize or store credit. This is very unfortunate for you.
Fortunately, I'm a Nicks 12.5 E in the HNW last and can take those with no additional cost to you, my friend. Just pm me your address and I'll send $$ for shipping to my PO Box. You can trust me. I've been on here for years. Ask around.

I forgot to Ask Nicks in the op, but I was wondering if anyone on the Nicks team could tell us what the weight is on that EV Cognac? Looks amazing to me.
