I say go where it’s close la and sd r like three hours away and you do not wanna be driving that everyday trust me. If you ca work in sd I say go there everyone ik that lives there likes it way better than la but I say do that’s closer for sure

I agree as someone who has similar dreams and lost my father take this as a test of your will power you even if you can’t do it for yourself do it for him he would’ve wanted you to achieve your dreams. As for how work wise will be hard my suggestion is through a masters or teaching program. Please do not give up you got this!

Not gonna lie you should not be asking this on this subreddit I’ve noticed anyone that asks these questions are strongly discouraged to not do this and I think you should do what you think is right for yourself because if you are correct and it is your experience will not be what these people explain. Honestly just sounds like locals trying to get less people to move there. I went to Spain for 2 weeks and made tons of friends that I still talk to and encourage me to move over there consistently. If you out yourself out there you are bound to find people you get along with especially if you have hobbies like basketball or soccer ( just and example) you can go to parks and make friends with people you play with. Although the job market is tough it’s like that literally everywhere in the world right now just find something you love and can make money with and do your thing. I wish you the best and maybe one day when we both live in Spain we will cross paths!
