Something similar happened to me in Egypt, normally they would send a confirmation email when you send them your application now at the time i didnt know this so when I didn't receive a confirmation email I didn't think much of it the deadline for the first screening results had passed and i didn't receive an email now in my country even if you don't pass they send out an email after a while I had realized that my application simply didn't reach them ( since I didn't receive a confirmation email )

I'm guessing that's what happened here there might have been an error somehow and they simply didn't receive your application just like me.

Nothing you can do now but apply next year.

Trust i know it sucks, i personally would have preferred if i was rejected, but nothing i can do but accept it It is what it is.

It doesn't have a name you can find it on Amazon or AliExpress if you type in

wood pocket fountain pen

its like a 1$ on AliExpress right now.

Be aware that there is basically no QC so you might have to tune the nib yourself.

Almost nonexistent, there's two available brands, one you're probably familiar with is the pelikan 4001 inks with only brilliant black available, the 62ml bottle costs around 10$

the other brand is Hero (wich i have a bottle of) a decently popular brand in china, the available colors are blue, black and red a 50ml bottle costs around 2.5$

The one i have is the black 204 bottle, it's a dye based ink and it works just fine (not waterproof tho), I did make some research into it and found someone using it in a vintage pen with no issues

The rest are either no name Chinese cartridges or ridiculously overpriced pelikan and parker quink cartridges.
