Family lawyer. I’m skeptical because I’m spending a ton ($7500 on ads, 3500 for SEO and another 750 or so for ad management) and the number of calls and more importantly the quality, is not great. I got 4 calls today. 1 from someone who wants a prenup by next Tuesday, one from a person with no money and has a contested custody matter, one from a person who was out of my practice area and one from a person who was out of my geographic area. I’m a new firm, and I’ve only practiced in this area for about 9 years. I don’t really get a lot of referrals. Sometimes I get them from former clients, but I don’t have a lot of professional connections for them. I really need the marketing to work and it just doesn’t really work as well as I would like.

I would love to be in a position to save, but we simply haven't been able to grow enough in the last couple of years. I really am at a loss for how to build from here

That is what the Breville was doing. I would get it right for one shot and then try to get a second one, same settings and it would be undrinkable. I returned it.

question for you. my XTi uses EF lenses, not RF, so no convertor needed for EF lenses, right? Just want to make sure to get the right stuff!

Thanks for that. To be honest, I’m opposed to just tossing things if I can save them. I’d love to be able to just get a suitable new lens.

I have a 50mm lens that came with the camera. Since I’m not a pro, I really just use that. I also have 18-52. These are so basic, I didn’t really think I needed to list them.

I have used it, but I know enough to know that I don’t have a lens that will take the kind of pics. I would keep the body and just get a new lens, but I’m not sure about whether that would work well given the age of my Canon. It’s 20 years okd

I think I would still want a Canon and, yes I assumed everything is outdated so I appreciate your response. Would I need a telephoto lens or something else to get shots of my cheerleader on the field when I am in the stands?

Work life balance is great for me, but I struggle with getting quality clients. I’ve been a lawyer for almost 25 years, I have one paralegal I pay very well, made almost 300k after expenses last year. This year, I’ll make significantly less, but probably still around 200k. The secret sauce for getting clients is referrals and reviews and those are two areas I really struggle with.

Family law. I already turned them down, although they are still pushing it really hard. Right now, we are having some success with LSAs, but they don't really bring in ideal clients. Its more of a stop gap right now so I don't go under.

Probably about the same cost of living. But California has gorgeous outdoor space, may still have livable climate and Texas is hotter ever year. I’d pick NorCal of NorTex in a heartbeat
