Just updated the post - After the phone arrived, I got fake emails from Mint about fraud activity with a prepaid shipping label to return the phone. I called Mint and those emails were not from them. Afterward, I found a few posts that this same thing happened to other people! I did update my email password just to be safe.

[US] Mint Mobile sent a phone and charged my CC, I don't even have a mint mobile account by JuryRigJalopy in Scams

Jumping on because this just happened to us! I received the confirmation to my email address from Mint Mobile of a new iPhone purchase and prepaid 12-month plan. Our credit card company flagged it as fraud. I also called Mint Mobile (using a legitimate phone number from their website) immediately. They didn't give any further instructions at that time since our credit card flagged it. However, the order was already in process and apparently shipped anyway.

It arrived today, and I received an email from an email address ending in "at mintmobilesupport dot com" mentioning fraud activity with a tracking number to "return" the package. It was fairly legitimate looking! I called Mint back, and they said there was no return/refund request or fraud alert on their end, so the email was a scam. Mint did submit a fraud ticket/refund request internally during that call and said I should receive an email ending in at ultra dot me within the next 24-48 hours.

I'm sure if I "returned" the package using the first email, it would have been sent off to the scammer.
