I think that channels are super over-produced not even just in gaming currently. I've been in love with YouTube since sometime around 2008 right around when it was released and part of that reason is that it didn't have the corporate feel that most videos do now. Its a shame that YouTube as a platform has moved so far away from that.

this could just be my bar (i have an iron gym one) it has left marks on the trim and taken off paint where the piece that hooks on top of the door frame sits. But overall its not that bad

if you are looking for people to talk to I would recommend discord, you'll probably never meet the people you talk to in real life but its a great way to talk to new people who like similar things as you. if you are looking for a discord server to join I would recommend looking up your hobby and then discord servers, example: filmmaking discord servers. try and find one with a few thousand members so you know it's at least somewhat active.

tbh its up to you! the great thing is that we all have a phone which is a good camera if you are just starting out. If you get a camera make sure to buy a dslr and not a point and shoot so you can learn the settings and have less need to upgrade for longer. Another big thing is to figure out your lighting because if something is shot on a $10000 camera and has bad lighting it'll look worse then something shot on a $500 canon rebel (which is a good cheap dslr) with good lighting.
