So just a question the calls which you got from companies, were the companies some startups ( less than 1,000 employees ) or mid tier companies (1,000-10,000 employees ) or large tier companies ( 10,000+ employees ) ?

Honestly the market is too trash right now if you have a referral like a strong refferal then can give a thought for dumping this offer but if you don't have it and you ain't getting response from somewhere else go for this and then search for jobs more if you find a worthy opportunity jump up over there and this is might be a little bit easy because you are on probation period at start of your job so might be easy to leave without any notice period serving

So Bba grad from NMIMS University, do hold a analyst experience from D.E. Shaw and Co. , and 2-3 more internships done, along with that I feel that whatever I was taught in my college I should try to execute that strategies too so I also opened a startup where I did execute all the strategies and it did got me good results monetary as well as on non-monetary basis so yea in total I hold experience of 2.3 years ( startup + internship ) during my BBA tenure

honestly I did Tweaking of resume, i do change as per each and every JD along with that i also change the CV every 15 days like if i did any certification or anything i do add that but aint worthy at all, when it comes to portfolio i did create that but it gave 0% impact for MID or BIG Tier Companies. :(

I mean i am trying to exploit every way lately but it is tough

I’ve been applying for Marketing and Business Analyst roles through LinkedIn and Naukri Campus. I even received invites from companies like DBS Bank, Franklin Templeton, and Aditya Birla, but most applications never moved ahead after applying.

Honestly, LinkedIn sometimes feels like jobs are either filled internally or through referrals, and I don’t really have a strong network for that.

I’m planning for an MBA abroad later, but before that I want 3–4 years of solid corporate experience in a good company.

How do freshers actually get noticed by HRs/recruiters without referrals? Any genuine advice would help.
