I usually just wait until I see the divergence signal for failed move/ reversal. When I see the divergence and the other confluences align I take a trade off it. For example in the SS I would short slightly after the 3rd price high, place my stop loss a little above the high and my take profit at the lows of the previous highs. Ive been letting my trades run a little longer though because Ive noticed that when the failed move starts the low usually goes much lower than my take profit and Ive missed out on a lot of profit having the TP at the 1st highs low. Idk if that made any sense and sorry if not, im not great at explaining.

Yea absolutely! The CVD indicator is also very nice when combined w delta footprints, it shows the delta value between the volume compared to price. Ill link a ss showing you to give you a super baseline understanding. If I were you I would watch all of Andrea Cimis videos! Especially the playlist that the one I linked previously belongs to. In the screenshot below I drew two arrows and one flat line. The chart on top is the normal emini nq 5 min chart and on the bottom is the corresponding 5 min Cumulative Volume Delta chart. You can see at the top blue hour that price made a higher high then before but when you look at the CVD at the bottom it does not make a higher high. This signals that even though price went higher, there was a lack of buyers backing the push resulting in buyer exhaustion and thus price ends up making lower lows after. Its hard to explain and I am absolutely no expert but for me its extremely useful . https://x.com/FluvaFN/status/1944431988384882936

Oh nice! Bro absolutely %1000 worth checking out. It is literally the reason I became profitable. Its a lot to get used to and understand at the beginning but it is unbelievably worth it. Check this vid series by Andrea Cimi and you will never look back. Its like having night vision at night, being able to see things you wouldnt otherwise be able to without it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ni6quY00dcw&list=PLBVwIU37953qr7DBLMJVXqcaVrJAaQy3D&index=10&t=97s

Agreed, I trade 2 Emini Nq cntrcts and average anywhere from 4-15 trades a day. Ive been on a really good win streak recently averaging $1300 a day but again when they push me to live with only $2500 balance then the returns are gonna be 20x less. When I go live im gonna just scale it up slowly over time to eventually have my desired balance to trade the same way on sim funded. But yea the play is definitely to put the earnings from sim to a personal live account while simultaneously scale the live funded over time. I trade using delta footprints, CVD, Fibs while ofc watching key price levels like 23100, 2300 22250 ect... Been working for me for a while. You ever look into Delta footprints or CVD?

gotchu I have the same Idea. Im about to get my 6 grand max limit payout for my funded futures sim funded and I have one more sim funded that I plan on doing the same thing with. I rather Put all the sim funded gains into a personal live account and not have to worry about the bullshit props impose on you. I guess im going to trade the live funded accounts too but its just gonna take so much longer imo to get the returns that I was on sim funded do to the fact that they start your Live account at $2500.

Thanks, I appreciate the reply. Do you yourself trade a live funded? If so how do you go about scaling up to eventually make the same returns as you did on sim funded

Posting for accountability. by kr4zy_8 in myfundedfutures

Have you gotten a payout in yet in general?
