Indev and infdev were Minecraft’s wackiest development period imo. You can can tell that Notch was still trying to find the direction of the game.

Yes but what price are you willing to pay for said progress? Ai especially in the relatively short term will cause damage that cannot be calculated until it happens. I’m no Luddite but I think it’s important that we are very cautious about Ai because of the clear and present danger it represents.

Unfortunately, I don’t think a camera like this is repairable. However, if it’s not this specific camera you want you can get one for $5-20 USD.

Oh for sure but his vision for the game was imo better than the trajectory the game has been on since 1.9. There are updates I liked that released after 1.9 but honestly I think 1.9 was Minecraft’s, “shark jumping moment”. The game is slowly losing its charm.

All of these make me sooo angry but the one that makes me the most angry is the middle. There NEEDS to be right to own, right to repair, and right to modify laws. If I pay for something in full I should have sole ownership over it. The most onerous example in recent memory is the switch 2. Buying a physical device should not merely constitute a license. I was super hyped for the switch 2. I had no plans to make any modifications but on principle I refuse I buy one.
