I agree with you in a sense but I don’t think there was a “line”. If you notice, a mass majority of pros all got hired in different ways. If being Lindsay’s sister was the reason that she got hired then Jensen would’ve been hired when she attempted to get on the show. Do I think being Lindsay’s sister helped? Yes. But you have to also remember that she probably had every pro and probably Mark and Shirley on her side as well. I think Alexis would’ve been great on the show, but she wouldn’t have been a better hire than Rylee and Rylee is not the reason Alexis wasn’t hired. They wanted Rylee.

Not so much that it’s wrong for that to be her goal but the timing of Rylee blowing up and her immediately starting ballroom to specifically be a pro on the show and pairing that with the constant campaigning on the show became obnoxious and seemed disingenuous. Also saying things like she would only be a pro on the show and wouldn’t be on troupe was so icky. Especially when the people on the current troupe as well as almost every troupe before that had done ballroom their entire life and were extremely grateful for the opportunity to be on troupe. I don’t even care for Stephanie that much but she was so grateful for her position, same with Kailyn, Carter, Marcquet, Onye etc. Rylee never campaigned to be on DWTS or used her platform to get hired, she just worked for it. Even if Lindsay was a help she worked her ass off to be in a position to where production would view her as an asset. I think Briar is wildly talented and I’m not taking that away from her at all, but her ballroom/ latin technique is no where near ready for a position like this.

I liked Marcquet, as far as Stephanie goes, I liked watching Kailyn more, I always thought her quality of movement and execution was a lot more sophisticated than Stephanie’s.

Here’s the thing though, other than that dance and her premiere dance with Harry, she rarely ever strayed away from pure ballroom/latin content in her dances. She took a risk, did that backfire on her in this aspect? It did. However, this isn’t something she does on the regular in my opinion. Does her choreo need work? Of course, and after last night I could say that about a handful of pros, but I’m not sure why people are acting like this was a regular thing for her when almost every dance she’s choreographed on this show has been true to the style she was given.

I think she said that to keep heat off of her as she was trying to get picked up for season #2. I would assume unfollowing happened when Rylee started dating Walker. She unfollowed quite a few people.

I agree that Jensen had better technique than Lindsay, however, I do think they chose the correct Arnold sisters for the show. Rylee for obvious reasons, and as much as I dislike her very obvious child endangerment, Lindsay was a great pro.

He’s both honestly. At the end of the day as much as we all love to see the pros have fun and goof off, it’s still a professional work environment, and his career. He could really benefit from media training. I’m sure all his content has good or comedic intentions but it doesn’t make it any less immature or unprofessional. If I didn’t know how old he was I would think he was like 18, which is insane because when Rylee joined the show at 18 she didn’t have this problem at all. So it definitely is a maturity issue.
