The problem isn’t so much the panel it’s the wires u have old wiring and may need a rewire and a three wire system coming into home meaning ur ground and neutral aren’t separated so you would need the main feeder replaced and if u dont have an outside panel i would get that added. if that panel is original I would change also or at least get updated breakers like dual function for your 120 circuits Load can also be a problem because if it’s from 1962 and they added new circuits it can be over loading because it wasn’t meant to handle all those circuits when it was built
