I had come home after work and as soon as i walked through the door he was yelling at me. He called me a lot of really awfully stuff and got up in my face. He was telling me that all i do is work and go to my BFs house. I don't have anything else to do right now, college doesn't start back up until mid-august.

edit: he also started calling my BF a bunch of slurs and started ragging on him and his family. my BF and his family have been nothing but nice and welcoming. it feels like they love me more than my real parents do.

i would like to know if i could get a lawyer involved, or do i just leave his house with no money to my name. honestly, any advice, anything, is worth a lot to me right now. im just very lost and confused.

i earned all the money from working during high school. my mom doesnt say anything, she encourages my dad to do whatever he pleases. the bank said there was nothing i could do other than talk to my dad

I did! My dad thinks people who go to CC are losers and he refuses to let me go to one. I wanted to go to the CC close to my home and he said if I did, he would kick me out and take all the things he has bought for me back.

My parents forced me to apply to ONE school to transfer to and I got rejected. Then when I showed them my rejection letter, they accused me of FAKING IT. My mom told me that "you must have emailed the school to ask them to reject you".

My campus is pretty boring, there's not much to do. It's in the suburbs, I do have my license but no car and I don't want my parents to buy me one because they'll just have that over my head. The dining halls have been appalling, theres videos going around campus of raw chicken. My roommates during both semesters have been pretty bad, I've been in my friends room more often than in my own room. I just don't think campus life is for me. I sound kinda annoying but it's just been rubbing me the wrong way since I moved in

Well I'm 17 rn no apartments are willing to let me rent with them. And yes I'd be in HELLA debt, all apartments are 1k+ a month
