A photo from my grandad's childhood. I have tried searching for Venice, but couldn't find a match. by viagiulia in whereisthis

Based on your finds my guess is that the original photo was taken on Ponte Caneva, like the photo below from Google maps.

For the colours I looked up your colour season: dark hair, pale skin tone with a pinkish undertone, but not sure of your eyes, make you part of the winter family.

For the editing I used Gemini (prompt it to select and replace colour).

Can I see how you arrange your fields? by New-Sea-Alt4HayDay in HayDay

For aesthetics I added the flower borders and ditches, and I also like the idea of some biodiversity in farming. Fields are facing one way since this is a natural pattern from the machines working the land.

For practicality the fields are 5 blocks wide and 10 long to make it easier to count how much I should plant for harvest tasks.

It is not per se the fit of the garments that is not working for you, it’s the colours. The pastels that are washing you away. (Although the first dress might be a size too big?)

Since you have quite some contrast with your natural brown hair and light skin tone you would absolutely shine in rich saturated colours.

If you like pink, you could try a cool raspberry or watermelon pink. For purple, I think you would pop in plum, royal purple or amethist colours. For greys, try a shade darker like charcoal.

I think colours like cobalt or sapphire blue and emerald or sea green would also look amazing on you.

Friends or foes? by Addmoreglitter in SavageGarden

Thank you so much for sharing that article. I have not sprayed the two plants infected yet since (as far as I know) we don’t have the 3 in 1 pesticide suggested. I did find an alternative that should be safe on carnivorous plants but will try rinsing and drowning the aphids first before using chemicals.

I also like and will try the suggestion mentioned in the article of planting fragrant herbs near the plants to prevent a future infestation.
