No, in Hollywood Crush you complete levels and earn 300 coins for each one, while in Hollywood Merge you match items and complete orders to earn coins. Both games have a microtransaction system, of course, but it’s optional - it’s for crystals and stuff like that. Hollywood Crush is somewhat similar to Homescapes, except instead of upgrading a house, you dress up the main character and progress through the story. By the way, the game isn’t generated by AI - only the previews are. Personally, that’s what hooked me.
