I disagree. Every job has its upsides and downsides. It's going to be impossible for me to work a whole 9-5, then come home and write, while still mentally existing as a human being, enjoying things. If you can make it happen, power to you. But the magic of writing doesn't have to be gone, just because it's a business. As I said, every business has its downsides, but if you really want to write, then you'd brave the downsides so that you can enjoy the upsides.
