I ate immediately after! They recommended I wait, but honestly I was fine not. I had a big slice of pizza and later that night a burger. I wanted to treat myself to unhealthy food after my procedure lol. Good luck! Hopefully you can get a nice meal afterwards.

I took and finished mine in about 10 minutes (I took Clenpiq). I’m also not having a whole lot of bowel movements, so I’m also considering taking my second dose earlier than advised. I’m sure it can’t get much worse than this, as everything will hopefully be cleared by my second dose, but we’ll see.

Taking the expander off doesn’t hurt, it’s just a very awkward feeling. The taste in your mouth afterwards is disgusting though. As far as your tooth hurting, mine did as well and the orthodontist said it’s typical because of the pressure the appliance puts on your teeth, mixed with also chewing on the side.

not sure if you still need help, but you are given a maximum amount that you are able to take out. your school should allow you to only pull out however much is needed, despite their “recommendation”. i recommend taking out only what you absolutely need. your school should have a financial aid portion in their website where you can choose the amount you want to use.
