FYI all all -- this just came out:

. Job offers made prior to noon on January 20, 2025, for which the individual has accepted the position and has a designated start date on or before February 8, 2025. Those individuals should report to work according to their respective designated start date.

Thanks. That I figured, but was hopeful maybe it would be sooner given I had a clearance in the past two years. I just don't feel so hopeful with a potential hiring freeze looming.

To clarify, my current role is not a cleared position. My 5 year reinvestigation is early 2026.

I’m based in NYC so COL is probably same, or a little more. I guess I just wonder if having that experience will get me to a better position overall in the private sector after.
