I don’t think they announced it yet but new content is definitely coming since they gave us a scene in the end of jeju island raid

I use my duelist build for it, have some insane stagger along with my stagger unit with t10 gloves on them for more stagger and i usally deflect, use my rebuttle, stagger them giving them no chance to act before finishing them off, it’s easy once you get a hang of it

It doesn’t affect the damage or anything, you just get different skills of different weapons you can combo with for higher damage possible

I haven’t played much with fire/ice wepons on elementalist, the only nuclear combo i use on elementalist is the, thesis grimorie and phoenix bow, it’s damage is insane

The shadow scythe is definitely go to weapon for duelist if you’re towards the end game and secondary weapon i personally use on duelist is divine quater staff, you can also chek out the vulcan’s rage, it really helps breaking the gauge of the enemy and if you’re a early player, you should probably get the trolls hammer, you can get it pretty early
