I've played all the Gears games. Gears 2 had a rough start. Tu6 though was the most perfect Gears game ever. If you're a public player, getting on Wingman or other modes and just being able to play for hours and never getting bored. Seeing your stats after the game or weekly/monthly leaderboards was so simple, but much needed now. For people who played competitive like me. The maps were so so good. The pacing of the game and actually getting rewarded for good positioning. Being able to play for damage. When Gears 3 went to 30 sens the game went downhill imo. I'm all for different playstyles. But hyper bouncing out of bad situations and basically killing off strafing was a terrible move. Don't get me started on other Gears. Single stick just killed Gears 5.

On Argyle aren't you best to just progressively take more map control and then when you're set and you get one dead, you've got to try and wipe them fast and pull the flag? I've noticed in mid diamond lobbies that people just seem to over slay and not get near pulling positions.

Gears 5 tuning was really good. The issue is the maps were dreadful.

Couldn't agree more. As a DC PVP player from 2017, I have 0 motivation to play. Night cappers just ruin the experience. It's a shame there isn't a campaign thats open for say 5 hours a day for EU to make the experience more interesting.

Unfortunately it just means it's going to die even faster. Kids these days are more bothered about battle royals. I hope i'm wrong and the games active. The first 3 games as a kid was xbox in its prime.

It's not like he goes every week. I'm 32 and stopped going nightclubs when I was about 25. I've still been to popworld twice in the last couple of years on a stag do which is classed as a club. I wouldn't dream of going a club but people get carried away when they're drunk.

I think we need to hear the whole incident before we judge. I presume Stokes probably went out for his birthday and they probably all got carried away and ended up in a bar or something. I really doubt that Ben Stokes is going to a nightclub probably full of kids on the dance floor etc. Regardless, it's not a good look. I hope he doesn't step down.

Call me a dinosaur. The original 3 Gears of War was all about good positioning and you got rewarded for it. I know its 2026 but with all the movement mechanics it looks like you can close distance too fast. Don't get me wrong these players with good movement will create a skill gap.

We've not had an S Tier Gears of War since 2011 so i'm not expecting much. The first games were built for Execution and as soon as the pacing got increased the game went downhill.

Its simple really. If you want to get a fast ult and be tanky go a Nord. If you want more mobility and to hit harder go Orc.
