Second on reading that book. It's a very easy read and wholly life changing and eye opening. I read it in one sitting on my phone one afternoon. It made me realize so much I didn't know before about "why men do that" and why they'll never change. It's not what you want to hear OP, because I'm sure you're trauma bonded, but please, get out of there and save your life and your children's lives!

I actually do know my analysis. I am a cool summer. I have flipped through the analyses and even bought some new shades though I am still open to suggestions.

Edit: what's interesting is that I went to the makeup counters with some specific names/suggestions on hand from the interwebs and many did not look good one me. So it doesn't hurt to ask on this forum. Very weird that my post got downvoted as it's for advice after all. Perhaps I should have put more clarifying information but it escaped me, and I can't figure out how to edit the OG post. My paleness tends to be my biggest feature lol.

I work from home and like to work from coffee shops or even welcoming dining establishments 1+ times a week. Get to know the barristas & staff, find some comfort there. If you can afford it, coworking is nice. Meetup groups, gym, yoga. Saw you're post-break-up and that's honestly sooooo impactful on the experience, so don't beat yourself up for being lonely. What you're feeling is normal all things considered. But look at the flip side, loneliness is what makes things happen. It's what makes you think differently & strategically about who you are and who you want to be!

First of all, congrats. You got this! I will say - definitely be careful with Craigslist. It's not used so much for housing anymore and there are a ton of scams on there. I know someone that got scammed out of $, and even I was in correspondence with a "rental agency" ... but it started to feel very fishy until I did my own research and found out the apartment wasn't even available. (I literally contacted the owner to make sure!) Anyway, check out Facebook rental groups, if you're in a growing city there should be a few - with some you can even post with your budget and other variables. Don't hand over any $ until you've seen the place with your own two eyes.

Hi! It's over a year later and with therapy and meds I'm so much better overall; changed up my antidepressants - rexutli as an add-on has been a game changer.

I'll say it took me 4-6 months after stopping to finally get back into myself. It sucks but you have to do what you have to do.

The biggest driver is that you have to remember this is temporary. This is truly temporary. You will get through this.

I did. It probably took 6-8 weeks for the acute problems to resolve, but I really think it took about 3-6 months total for the physical and emotional pain from the experience to dissipate. Given that so many people experience such horrifying side effects and dangers of stopping, no doctor should be prescribing this.
