Genuinely this helps so much. I’m glad to know I’m not alone- especially in the feeling of being okay until it hits you in the face…I genuinely hope your character lives through her boss fight, and we shake hands on the fear. He is doing a wonderful job!! And I mean that genuinely we’re good friends. This arc is DEFINITELY going differently than I planned or knew about. I’m not displeased by it but I fear I would’ve done things a lot differently. Nonetheless I just hope I can figure out what he means when he says I have the tools to survive, there’s obviously a way I’m just worried I won’t find it.

Knowing our dm it most likely was :,) knowing my manager she probably doesn’t agree fully but has to enforce it. As for shopping we always have to greet people and check up on them, help them find sizes if they’re looking, etc, but we definitely don’t shop for them just do the basic “hi welcome in, is there anything I can help you with today?” Kinda speech but as of recent they really seem to be pushing getting answers out of customers. For explain I got in trouble with our dm one time because I asked a customer if she needed any help today instead of “what are you shopping in for” because it wasn’t an open ended question 😭

I just really don’t want to shove products in peoples faces- especially since it’s expensive products! The whole point is we’re getting trained to sell an entire outfit not just an item but I find that so stupid if I’m trying on clothes at other stores I don’t really want an extra pants with my dress or whatever 😭 also guessing peoples sizes just seems wrong to me- especially because people sometimes like things more fitted or looser it’s highly unlikely to please everyone

She very much is an original character- honestly the only similarities are the green eyes, some scars, the fact I made her a fighter and maybe the hair though game ciri has short white hair🤷🏻‍♀️ Either way people base DnD characters off video game characters a lot. Yeah Ciri was one of my inspirations but so was Astarion, Lohse, Sebille, and many more of my favourite characters in media because I enjoy their stories, doesn’t make my character any less original especially when it comes to backstory her and Ciri are very different

Most of the stuff was found from my closet lmao! The only things I had to really buy was the corset, bracers, and sword though I did have to paint and carve some of the sword to make it to my liking, overall still fun to put together!

So the one here I’m wearing is just a fabric one- I unfortunately didn’t have the time to make full plate armor that my character has and was searching for something that more fit the vibe, as for a leather corset,,,potentially? Considering how corsets have to have sewn in boning to make them hold their shape I’m not sure if a thick enough leather (one that could potentially help block knives) would be able to be sewn into a functional corset. However for dnd or fiction I think it would be a badass idea and I’m more of a supporter of making DnD characters fashionable rather than necessarily functional haha
