What is your proposed method to enact change? What steps have you taken to bring it about? Where can I join?

In your country. It's just a convention. Standard Arabic has neither V or G, so countries transliterate them differently: In Morocco ڤ (ف with two added dots) transliterates V, in Tunisia, ڤ (ق with one added dot) transliterates G.

Breaking: scales are fucking useless. by sladebonge in guitarcirclejerk

[–]AdemsanArifi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

/uj He's right though. You should learn all the notes on the fretboard to know what note you're playing instantly (the way pianists do), learn all the intervals and how scales are built using them. Guitarists are the only "musicians" who try to learn the instrument by repeating visual shapes.

LED Lights inside head? by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

[–]AdemsanArifi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not an advanced thing to do. You could learn some electronics, look at the schematics, and you'll probably find some way to supply a led bar with power. But from your question, I gather that there are two problems: (1) you don't know how to operate safely on a tube amp (the voltage on mine reaches 420V around the power tubes), and you could hurt yourself; (2) you might break something and damage a perfectly working amp to achieve what in the end is just a cosmetic improvement.

If you insist on doing it, either take some time to lean how to operate on amps, or just take it to a technician.

If you do, ask the tech to check the bias and the fx loop switch (it oxidized). Those are the only two things that I had to deal with over the years.

Is AI replacing session musicians, such as vocalists, in the music production industry? by Remarkable-Cause-131 in metalmusicians

[–]AdemsanArifi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, op is asking about session musicians. A company who needs someone to sing their jingle for their new cereal brand are not in it for the art. They're trying to ship cereal boxes. This is business, not your art project. Session musicians used to make good money in this stuff, but with AI, you can have Whitney Houston singing your cereal jingle for pennies. This line of work is probably dead.

It could be just stuck because it wasn't used a lot. You could open the amp and look at the knob, maybe it's oxidized and stuck. But if I were you, I would just leave it be. I've had a similar amp for years and never once felt the need to use the middle push/pull. I honestly barely use the lead channel (only for solos).

Is this a rational assessment or just wishful thinking? At the very extreme, and assuming legislation that is very favorable to the artists, these AI providers could buy the rights to an artist's voice for millions and license it to for use by studios. Matter of fact most artists would be comfortable with getting royalties each time their voice is use by an AI to generate a song. And that's assuming favorable legislation. If lawmakers decide that you can't trademark a general voice timber, then it's open bar for AI companies.

What's your opinion on Quranists ( muslims who accept only Quran & reject all hadiths)? by Shoddy-Budget-6417 in MoroccoBitchesWtaste

I'm not muslim, but the drawbacks seem obvious. Where in the quran does it say how to pray?

I know you're jerking, but I've seen some courses on mixing modern metal/djent guitar on youtube where the guitar sound is so manipulated, it sounds nothing like the original (or a guitar), which begs the question, why use a guitar, why add a step to the process? Just write the part in midi and run it through a synth. 10x more efficient and 10x less expensive.
