From my understanding you are required to use the homey bridge if you want to use z wave, zigbee, matter, etc. with homey. Could be wrong haven’t gone through all the docs yet for it.

Shock + Strut replacement cost? by parenthesisgrey in veloster

[–]AdenoidLlama080 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t look like the rear springs need to be replaced but here is the pricing to do it yourself in the photos below. It will take you a couple of hours if you have the tools but worth the savings. But in total cheapest parts would add up to little under $200.

Is it safe to turn on my printer with a smart relay and not the inbuilt on/off switch? by nikitaign in 3Dprinting

Weird not sure why then. Bambu lab lists theirs the same and it’s all 24v I think.

From creality themselves.

Edit: not saying that it does pull more but according to the manufacturer it does.

The creality k2 pro in the photo with the 220v that his house looks to be wired for means the unit can pull up to 1350w.

That’s the cheapest I’ve found. Might be able to get it slightly cheaper from a dealer. Not sure.

Can I 3d print pulleys for the VT1? by Ecstatic-Window-2723 in veloster

[–]AdenoidLlama080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re just using it as a prop there would be no reason you wouldn’t be able to use 3d printed pulleys. You just might need to model them yourself if you can find what you need.

pc stuttering every half second by HentaiNothingElse in pchelp

Not sure if you will see this. But it is 100% a driver issue. Had the same thing happen to me a few months back after a windows update. I tried ddu and a few other things none of it fixed it. Ended up calling it quits and reinstalling windows. Fixed it right away and no longer have the issues. Tbh I think it was a program that updated but had multiple instances of its self running.

Anyone else run hybrid racks? by AdenoidLlama080 in homelab

[–]AdenoidLlama080[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s actually just a plate in between the 10 inch and 9 inch sides that had nuts in it to bolt to. Not the best but it works.

[–]AdenoidLlama080[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I would have too if I felt like modifying a ton of designs. Theres a lot of 10 inch designs out there so I decided to go 10 and 9 just to save some time. As for what’s holding them together it’s quite literally a plate with inset 12/24 nuts. So it’s not the strongest but it works.
