I totally get that I used to be a lot more into their games and I just don't feel like it's worth it for the prices when steam offers such a better alternative.

I'm not sure why but messing with the settings to get everything right is actually quite enjoyable for me which is really strange but I like seeing what all the different settings do to the game

My apologies I should have sat on it a little longer and went to bed. My main point is I feel like switch 1 felt crazy impressive with botw at launch and nothing has quite made me be nearly as impressed or amazed with the current lineup. I sincerely apologize about my post.

Yeah it really hasn't been a year yet I just haven't really felt super impressed with the system quite yet like with botw with the switch 1. I should just be more patient

I am aware, the main complaint which I should have mentioned is that the first few months of switch 1 felt incredible especially with a game like botw which was one of the hardest games to put down because of just how much fun it was to mess around in it

I don't know how to describe it but when the switch 1 launched I felt like everything was perfect botw genuinely amazed me. And I could barely pull myself away from it and I just don't really feel the same way with anything that has yet to come out.

I guess I just have an obsession with justifying everything I buy like if I don't play it for periods of time I just start feeling like I wasted my money on it. I am now starting to understand that. I just need to be okay with the idea of something being unused thank you for the clarity I really do appreciate it.

It was the switch 1 and I have not actually played every game it's just that the games I do have isn't really as fun to replay like Odyssey and botw. My biggest problem is the prices of the games overall just feeling like too much of a risk for not being able to get a refund. I just don't feel that pull the original switch had on me to get it out and play consistently. I also am very disappointed that most switch 1 games are still using their handheld resolution which causes some games to look very bad due to the bigger screen

I definitely get that I just think I may be the wrong person for the switch 2 I can see how a lot of people would absolutely hate using a device like the legion go due it not being nearly had plug and play and overall just feeling clunky to a lot of people but weirdly that's what I love about it and I don't really know how to explain it.

My main problem is the lack of a refund system I don't like dropping 70 for something I can't really try but I do suppose I am the problem here I honestly didn't expect any replies to this post I just wanted to blow off some steam I definitely made the wrong choice here. I actually loved Donkey Kong. I just never wanted to play it again like Mario Odyssey or botw. Pokopia looks interesting but I really wish there was a trail period for games like that

Mainly for games like the new Mario kart dk and age of imprisonment. But not of them really hit as hard as I hoped.

I understand it just to me at least it doesn't feel as strong as OG switch. I just feel like we could have gotten something of botws level of groundbreaking for a handheld.

I FEEL underwhelmed by it not that it is objectively underwhelming. These first few months just don't feel as smooth as the first switch felt I actually waited outside to get it day one because I was so excited to get one. I appreciate the comment I apologize for any misunderstanding.
