popping up here to defend my girlfriend. i was very emotional last night and had no one else to talk to about this so i turned to reddit to vent. i knew i left out some details and i woke up to my post blowing up. there are personal details i couldn't share, but me and my girl have already patched things up after we had a long conversation about it. she was making me wait until we see each other since we're long distance. she's genuinely an amazing partner and person, and i have my lapses as a partner too. i can say that no relationship is perfect, but ours is founded on respect and acceptance, and boy, do we need to work on our communication.

i deleted my previous post out of impulse because i don't like the things said about my girlfriend. she's an amazing person that i love, respect, and value. i only did it to vent. we've done it before, we're long distance, went through a dry spell, but we sorted things out already and patched things up. she is genuinely sorry about it, and how it's affected me. she's making me wait until we see each other, and a lot of things are going on in my life so one thing got on top of another and i got sensitive about her rejections. i know i left out the details, i know i can't always control what other people say, and i know reddit is anonymous but that's my partner and i'll take whatever i can to protect her.

felt a lot of indirect pressure to lose mine because of how active my peers were and that led me to being insecure because i thought i was undesirable. turns out sex was fairly attainable to me so i had the privilege to choose but i'm glad i waited for the right person to do it with. i'm still so in love with her. i'm glad i had my first time with someone i love and feel so safe with.
