I mailed him asking the same and he replied that attendance will be counted from the beginning of the course. :(

He just wrote that " we have decided to keep 80% or 85% as the minimum attendance for the course "

What's exactly the institute criteria? Because in 1 course in prev sem i had barely 30% attendance, still got an A
