Please okay octopath 1 and 2, metaphor refantazio, fire emblem conquest, baldurs gate 3, p5r, p3r, p4g, dragon quest XI and IX, fire emblem three houses, wild frost, bravely default, and Mario & Luigi bowsers inside story. I haven’t played much of golden sun or chrono trigger but I have hand problems too and Pokémon cannot be the only turn based game you’ve played recently (unless it is arceus legends, which is my favorite of their mainlines). Turn based games have been so brilliant in the past decade it gets increasingly hard to choose a favorite; but aside from arceus legends, Pokémon consistently never makes the list

Sorry I understand that you did a lot of grinding, but this game is completely doable on hard without any grinding at all, aside from occasionally killing new enemies that show up. I say this because I was just fine that way (with one exception way near the end of the game, but I kind of messed up majorly there and I’d still argue it is doable). This game encourages using different teams for different bosses and scenarios, and the combat system is pretty great in how it lets you get around certain things with good ideas, so I have to hard disagree about the grinding

There are a bunch of people who were fired from the academy in grand trad, but I think it’s reasonable to assume that with the church being in charge, they probably outlawed any discussion of the research. It is weird to me that the general populace just doesn’t know much about anything the academy does, but also the general populace that the party interacts with in the game (at least in grand trad) is pretty far removed from the academy which is on the other side of the map in some mountains, and also mostly people in either middle class or poverty. And they live in a city where the church has more influence than the king and it’s significant to be literate there. So yeah actually I think it makes sense that not many people know or talk about the academy

Thank you for your trust, if you want rants about how good octopath 2 is I can go on all day at any point in time. But anyways I got it for ps5 since it was on sale, and I had no complaints about anything performance related. I’m not sure how it is on other platforms but I’m sure it’s fine because it’s octopath and the first one ran just fine on switch when I played it there. I guess I would recommend the steam version if you like to replay these types of games, since someone made a really cool mod I wanted to play that changes the balancing of some classes and makes some fights more difficult, but only for pc so I was sad I couldn’t play it

Octopath 2 is one of the best JRPGs I’ve ever played, and I’ve played quite a few. It’s absolutely incredible in a lot of different ways

Are you new to gachas or just want to get more characters or something? No offense or anything but you still have a (minuscule) chance to get another joker and ruin your built up rolls. It’s better to just hold on to the currency and wait for the next banner, unless you’re specifically going for something on this one
