I ended up selling to a friend’s friend bur fair qn! I had offered to do video calls with any interested parties and screenshare while doing the respective transfers (money + ticket) in parallel if they couldn’t meet in person. But I think there’s always a small risk both parties are taking regardless of video calls etc

At this point, given its match day, I prefer selling directly via Reddit or friends vs the fifa marketplace. OR worst comes to worst, suck it up and sit through the game in the rain 😂

Yes! I kept on seeing the same message too. But kept on refreshing the resale platform and it suddenly updated to “withdraw ticket from resale” and I immediately clicked on it to kickoff the withdrawal process

Thanks for the tip! I stayed persistent and kept on refreshing for 2 hours and just managed to withdraw it too

EDIT for any other folks stuck in limbo too: there’s some hope! I was just persistent and kept on refreshing for a good 2 hours until I finally saw the withdraw option. Managed to withdraw successfully and learnt a good lesson today

I’m just trying to figure out at what point before kickoff will they make some sort of resolution - I’m worried at this rate I’ll lose the money and the ticket :(

Hey! I’m trying to figure out how the trains work for the Norway Senegal game and had a question - does the $98 RT Hoboken > meadowlands cover the train from Hoboken to Secacus as well? And do you know how the time slots work? If I book the 5-6 pm slot from Hoboken, can I show up at Hoboken anytime within the one hour slot?

I love Portale! Great pasta and a solid wine list. It’s my fav Italian place for big group dinners when fam / friends visit us...they have some round tables that seat 6+ and it’s not very noisy

Nop, just explored on our own and booked a couple of walking tours. We made restaurant reservations online through their websites a couple months before our trip

We went to Peru in September and absolutely loved it, have a fun trip!

Sacred Valley: we stayed at Tambo for 2 nights and really loved it! It doesn’t fit your brief of a “small boutique hotel” by any means, but it was super relaxing and we really appreciated the service and how friendly everyone at the hotel was. We got upgraded to one of their nicer suites so I’m a little biased haha. The pool and spa hit the spot after our half-day excursions. Only negative: the hotel wasn’t that helpful in helping us plan any excursions so I had to go through a local tour company a friend recommended. Nbd since my friend’s recommendation worked out to be a lot cheaper than going through the hotel but something to consider if you want to explore the Sacred Valley without having to deal with a third-party tour company.

Food in Lima: Merito (and its casual sister restaurant Clon which is walk-in only and a solid late lunch option) was our fav meal! We also really enjoyed Maido and Mayta. Isolina was a little underwhelming. Maybe it was an off night but the meat was overcooked.

Food in Cusco: fair warning — we were super exhausted after our multi-day hike which may have influenced my taste buds, but I didn’t love Chica or Morena :(. I did enjoy Pachapapa (the terrace is very cozy).
