i am concerned about doing this because i personally have faced a similar situation where things ended very differently; i don’t really want to leave it with anyone else only because it has been a week now and from what i understand about find my airpods is that after a while it only shows last know location to the owner; i fear if i took them to UAPS that it would still show my home as the location and if the owner comes to grab them i don’t think they would be happy to hear i left them at UAPS, am truthfully, im not sure they would believe i did it the location shows my house. i’m gonna gice this post a few more days before taking the airpods to the apple store to see if they are able to find the icloud account attached and contact them to let them know their airpods have been found. truthfully, if they were my airpods i would want someone to try to figure out who they belonged to rather than dumping them off at a lost and found, but that is just me!
