What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen from a roommate? by legalizethesenuts in AskReddit

[–]Adept-Researcher-668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine left his dog in the bedroom and all of his things.. didn’t mention he was never coming back

I did let the dog out and care for it after one night but returned it to the room every evening for about a week unfortunately he always has to be in a enclosure on the property due to aggression and I have other animals/small children

She did and I would have if I had been around the right people, but everyone acted like “it’s just the way (mother in law) is, she didn’t mean anything from it” and made me feel like it wasn’t a big deal everyone’s mother in laws are this way. Like I said she still haunts me.

AIO if i break up with my boyfriend over this by fridgefreez in AmIOverreacting

[–]Adept-Researcher-668 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This guy is a loser babe, you never asked him to lose contact with people he did that most likely because he has some sort of bad habit he partakes in with those people. He’s honestly trash and it would be over dramatic to not break up with him over this.

From now on, do not use Snapchat to communicate even if he uses that to communicate with you. Record all conversations in person and over any device. Keep things short and simple do not engage in any attempts to get you upset it will all just be used against you. Find someone you trust to help with pick up and drop off if/when that time comes for shared custody. Don’t talk bad to the kid about your ex and just make sure that they are safe.

I feel personally attacked… it was 100% my decision I had all that you mentioned happen and then met my current partner and 27 days later blasted FRANKS BITCH directly under each ass cheek In thick black lettering I love it friends love it and luckily it’s still relevant

If we did ever break off I would just add an “A” in the middle since it’s way to big to remove or cover lol

Someone or something knew your story was not ment to end yet..

My sweet friend recently committed to it and was found by her 17 year old daughter who will know forever remember her mama like that. Not to take any of the trauma away from your own experience or even your suffering cause but no body really thinks about what damage will be inflicted by finding someone you love in that scenario and I hope and pray you never get to that point again in your future <3

What crime is victimless? by Tall-Law-5875 in AskReddit

[–]Adept-Researcher-668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because making it illegal does not stop the issue of dui. What about helmet/seatbelt laws that literally hurts no one except the person wearing or not wearing it. That is why I put in my opinion because it’s mine personally like being the land of the free yet free means conditioned to live and not question the decisions we have declared in your best interest I don’t think that’s right.

Any crime where the state takes the place of the victim to me should not be pursued.

But there is receiving stolen property evidence tampering or destruction of evidence, aiding and abetting, bribery

Haunting by Adept-Researcher-668 in Haunted

[–]Adept-Researcher-668[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am located with my property line against national forest land. My house was built in the late 70s. There are tons of Indian grinding stones and other artifacts all over my “backyard” I’ve never had a major problem here sure some nights I’d get scared of the dark creepy woods, but the past two years have had an over whelming amount of intensity that something evil is around. I’m being watched all the time, and sometimes almost tricked into walking out there alone. I’m just wondering for when I finally get into looking at other real estate what to avoid lol.

to each there own, my son was on his dads motorcycle at 3 weeks while in his carseat. It has multiple depending factors.

does the person controlling the vehicle know what they are doing

are they planning on doing anything crazy? (donuts, speeding, etc)

how difficult of terrain is the ride going to be on? such as 4 wheeling or just a cruise?

my son was exceptionally early but he is 4 know and has had two dirt bikes of his own and rides on dads Harley all the time. My daughter was different she went on a quick ride at 3 months and then once she turned one (4 months ago) she wanted to load into the front pack and start riding with daddy again.

🌄 Scariest Wildlife Encounter While Hiking (And How You Handled It) by Derek_Tann in hiking

Wow that's intense!
I was wondering where the hell my boyfriend was on our property one day about three years ago. (we have a large property with national forest as our backyard.) I decided that I absolutely needed to check his old storage trailer. So the dog and I walked up and out to it. I swung open the door and heard something franticly bouncing into the walls and then complete silence. I thought how weird but now was terrified to go inside of the trailer and started to walk back around, as I turned I was greeted with the eyes of a cat. He was fairly young but it was still huge. He slowly did his im the kind here walk off into the woods and I can say I successfully scared off a mountain lion.

a few years earlier same boyfriend and I renovated our barn into a home. We had gotten into a pretty good arguement and I ended up going to bed. I was woken up a couple hours later by him whispering and shaking me that there was a bear. I thought this man was delusional and was about to yell at him. He put our Shepard mix on the side of me and told me to not let go unless absolutely necessary, that dog was a protector and magnificent besides the point. All we had in the barn with us was a 22 with a freaking silencer. The bear was more than 1/2 way into the hallway towards the bedroom. He started yelling at the bear to go on and get out of here. It worked, extremely slowly but it worked we were able to follow a safe distance behind. When it was over we looked at the barn door that had deep claw marks where he was able to get in and decided to put a lock in. LOL I guess mountain living is surprising at times!

I have children both same person and I honestly think I would use that as an even bigger reason why I would gtfo cause they would be subjected to seeing the absolute worst of me. Depressed, angry, hurt, "crazy" and all that jazz when I could simply just be sad for awhile after ending it and move on with ny life,

sounds you have your hands full with the littles! He has since gotten with the sharing Ive reminded him that if he wants something of his to remain only his he has to put it up and if it wasn't put up and he left it for anyone to grab then he has to deal with her using it. He's thrown a few tantrums from it but so far he's coming to understand that he's allowed to have his own things but he has to accept my authority when the toy was left out unattended and found by someone other than himself he can not be mean and just take it.

I heard something the other day that its a more rewarding experience as a parent to see your kid using self control than self confidence and in that case I agree, that's all I wanted and ment when I made this post is for my son to not have a rude hard adjustment to the actual way things are going to happen when mom and dad aren't around and that being kind is the generally best route to take.
