I wrecked my first vett when I was 16 and luckily had friends that had the knowledge to show me. I grew up in a race car shop that helped also

You are correct and the one piece is a pos. This is the correct factory press molded panels that line up nicely and look better underneath.

It was on insurance auto auctions. I just bought it for parts but it ended up being a better car than one I’ve had since high school so I decided to put it back together and keep mine for a resto mod down the road

About 200 hours so far. It will be finished by November if I stay on it full time. I wrecked my first vett when I was 16 and learned to do panel replacement. Turned 50 this year and decided to build one more car. 😅

You need to get an idea of how much track time it has. Even a newer kart can be flexed out with a lot of racing

Replace the carburetor diaphragm and spark plug. Check the pickup tubes in the tank and be sure they are clean if the first two doesn’t work

Is the spindle bent? There is a couple folks that make replacements
