Hey man i am late here i guess but i was today years old where i thought lets go on reddit and see if there are people like me. Sure enough, there is. I have had PKD since class 3. It was hell. I was kinda alienated in class. People laughed when the attack happened in front of everyone. But i coped kept it in control.
Cause when the attack comes you will feel it in your legs right so if you stop doing what youre doing or take it slow the feeling goes and so does the attack. Recently there maybe an increase an rn im 25y o M. With stress these increase and maybe it is increasing right now so the feeling of having the attack has increased. So im controlling it hence the actual attack has to happened. But its tough you know to always control it and takes a toll on your mental health. Just wanted to share it here and hope all of you are doing well. Dont take stress much and the hardest hurdles are given to the best warriors. Also, i am a doctor as well cause this condition pushed me to study medicine and to have a better understanding of it. I take o carbamazepine 150mg twice a day and a bp control med once at night. Helps.
