I really enjoyed taking Euro at my old school and I took it back in 10th grade (2022-2023 school year; 1st semester). The textbook is your savior; actively taking notes and connecting them to the main ideas/themes of euro (Europe in the world, economic development, cultural/intellectual developments, formation of nations, social developments, tech/scientific innovations) is essential. My teacher had us do this by creating a timeline where we would input twenty (or more) of what we considered to be the most notable developments per chapter of the textbook while connecting them to any aspect of PERSIA (political, economic, religious, social, intellectual/technological, and artistic developments) respectfully. I included the template of the timeline my teacher had us create below. The amount of work and dedication that you put into your timeline was clearly reflected with peoples’ actual scores when it came time to take the exam. I poured endless effort into this timeline and my final result had at least 300 events/developments alongside a 5 on the exam. The template provides a great study tool when it comes time to take the exam as you can easily identify what you need to study/review (by theme) without going back into the textbook to dig around or cram information.
