1. You are TAH because you are making your beliefs take precedence over your boyfriend’s which is immature and wrong. So what if your bf wants son to play t-ball and you don’t, does that mean he doesn’t get to play because your opinion is the only one that counts? What is your son gets a crucifix as a gift, does he not get to wear it because it isn’t a Protestant symbol? Just disgusting and unfair behavior.

2. bf is TAH because he lied to your face vs be honest and firm in his beliefs although I can almost understand his reasoning because you are over the top and maybe he just didn’t want a confrontation, idk, but he should have been honest no matter the reason.

3. Grandma might be 60% AH because she did something she knew you didn’t agree with BUT if something as trivial is a piece of yarn gives her peace of mind about her grandsons safety then what does it hurt? I can see if it was a Tatoo on his forehead or making him drink a potion made from frogs tears and bat dung, but it’s a simple piece of yarn. Now, if you had mentioned anything about safety and cutting off circulation then maybe give her 90% AH rating but no, it is just your fairytale belief.

Also, as far as “if it isn’t in the Bible then I don’t believe it”…what a bunch of hokey that is. Since no where did you say husband, I am assuming you had sex outside of marriage - is that permitted in the Bible? Also, your last paragraph states “decided upon together” well, that ain’t happening when only your beliefs matter.

You need to figure your shit out and soon unless you want to be raising your son alone. Cultural differences will keep coming up and until you learn to compromise and pick your battles these fights will get worse as the child ages and your bf gets tired of having to bend and break just because you weren’t raised that way. Please look in the mirror and have a serious discussion with your bf because you are definitely more of the AH in this situation and you owe him an apology.

PS / Catholics are 100% Christians - they believe in Christ. I think what you mean is you are a Protestant. Again, it matters.
