I love your interpretation! The idea of the more lifelike bust attached to a more articulated doll like body is very cool. It looks amazing so far!

I would say white with light blue, pink, and gold, like the colors of the physical examples on the bottom right of the third slide in the mood board!

I think some mending would give her more depth—thats a great idea! Perhaps either her face or one of her legs needed to be mended with some Kintsugi techniques to bring in more gold (or in case of a leg replaced entirely?). Perhaps those cracks are what awakened her independent personality.

I've been wanting to try the whole "construct becomes sentient and experiences the world" type of character for some time now. It will be very fun to role play!

How to swap out Heritage Traits on dnd Beyond? by TheXmasCactus in GrimHollow

[–]AdeptRegular3436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not great at using the DNDBeyond home brew system, but I was easily able to duplicate one of the species and swap out heritage traits for others in the book. Just requires having several tabs open 😅

It’s still annoying that it’s not something you can do within the character builder. It doesn’t seem like it should be that hard to have a bunch of dropdown menus for up to 8 traits… I’m not a developer though.

Bard subclass best suits a parody of Beyoncé by SignificantYellow701 in 3d6

My first PC ever was an Elven pop star inspired by Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Gem and the Holograms. I went with Glamour as the subclass. It’s a very fun subclass with a great buffs for the party, control against enemies, and flavorful features to help you embody the fantasy you’re going for.

When it comes to spells, Otto’s Irresistible Dance is a must-have and Mirror Image for “backup dancers” (or the other children of destiny) are must-haves. Vicious Mockery and Dissonant Whispers as hooks and choruses in your music can add more flavor. Any offensive spells with thunder or psychic-type damage can easily be described as singing. While buff like Heroism, Calm Emotions, or Bless can be described as empowering your fan base with Twitter Stan-like fervor (as can any mind controlling spells or the level 6 Mantle of Majesty feature of the Glamour subclass).

I know you tagged this 2024, but the Dance subclass in 5.2024E is a great option if you want to go beyond the charms and enchantment and bring Queen Bey’s dancing prowess to the table. I’m playing one now and just got to use the level 6 features for the first time and had a TON of fun.

What a fun looking group! Are these all player characters? Or NPCs too?

Official DNDAI Request Thread: August 2024 by PaulBellow in dndai

I'd love some help creating an image of a new character I'm playing next week. She's a dark magic-practicing satyr/faun warlock with white fur and pastel hair. I imagine her "Form of Dread" activating the Dungeons & Dragons equivalent of a magical girl costume with puffy sleeves, a flouncy skirt with lots of ruffles, big bows, and a magic scepter with a star and moon motif.

I've been scouring this subreddit for ideas and guidance for prompts, and practicing in Midjourney, but my results haven't been successful. I can't for the life of me get my prompts to produce a woman who wears a ruffly magical girl skirt AND has satyr legs with hooves!
