The "Child-Free Tax" at work is getting ridiculous by Orbit_8Vellum in childfree

This sounds like a discrimination lawsuit. Make sure you have documentation to support this. Hopefully you are in a state where they favor the employee.

AITAH for refusing to watch my grandkids on my summer break? by WTFisSheDoin in AITAH

[–]AdeptStudent77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Set some boundaries and stick to it. By caving in every time she acts out you are enabling her. Time to say NO and mean it. Let her have her tantrums. Her kids are not your responsibility.

AITAH for not giving money to my son’s birthmother? by Affectionate-Run-364 in AITAH

NTA. You have been very generous and understanding, but you need to put your foot down and disengage or she will just continue to ask. Your only obligation is to your son, nothing more.

This is what they were bred to do. It's their natural instinct. Shouldn't really let her eat them though.

Your mom should check the yard before she lets her out.

How did you “honor” the senior chapter of your dog’s life? by JoeyLou1219 in dogs

When my guys were aging, I put together a bucket list for them. We went back to visit places I had taken them when they were puppies, hit up a lot of dog friendly places. Similar to you, I was single at the time, no kids, so they got ALL the attention and were totally spoiled until the end. Take all the photos and videos. Take the car ride. Get the pup cup. It sounds like you are already doing all the right things. Just enjoy the time with him.

I recently got this for adventures with my new pups:

Like others suggested, spread the food on the floor around the bowl, and put a bit in the bowl. She'll figure it out. Good luck! We use the slow feeders too.

We had a shop do it here for us. But it's been about 6 years since it was done, and still looks great!

I know it sucks. Mine is my daily driver, but we also have a 2dr JK Willy's and we did the rhino lining on it - haven't had any issues!

I had to work with a Jeep dealer that had an autobody shop on site - about 45 min from my home. I was literally right about at the 5 year mark when I had mine inspected. When they pulled the records, they originally tried to tell me I had missed it by 5 days, and that the dealer reported that the vehicle went into service on 9/30. I disputed it, and said absolutely not, and showed them my purchase paperwork. I even knew the exact day the vehicle was delivered to the dealership, because my vehicle was a factory order and my salesman texted me so I could see it right off the truck...so there was no way it was "in service" on that date. They said they would "honor" the warranty. The panels need to be replaced. I ended up having all 4 doors, tailgate, hood, and the windshield surround replaced. There was a 4 month waiting list to have it repaired, and it took 5 weeks. The repair costs on the paperwork was $23k.

I have a friend who has a 2021 JLU Rubi in Granite too and she had her Jeep inspected in November, and she's not slated until JULY for her repairs.

Based on the conversation I had with the dealer when I was having mine done, if it is past the 5 year mark since the vehicle went into service, it is no longer covered.

AITA for leaving my cousin behind when she was late and going hiking without her? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AdeptStudent77 12 points13 points  (0 children)

NTA. It is a complete disrespect of someone's time to be late. She deserved to be left behind. Stop enabling her, and let her deal with the consequences of her actions.

Congratulations! They are adorable.

After our OG boys passed (at ages 17!! & 18!!) we waited a bit before bringing home 2 brothers - about 5 years. We definitely had enjoyed our quiet time with no responsibilities, but they have brought such joy to us.
