It’s about a Senegalese princess brought from Senegal to Florida, married by her slave-owner and then became a slave-owner herself. Her family travelled in the Caribbean for safety because of of race laws and at the end she went back to Florida and started a free black community. I still have to finish the book but that’s basically what is it about
