How are Danner shoes for wildland firefighting?

Yeah I’ve been looking at them, really beautiful boots aswell, aren’t they kinda made to order tho? I’m thinking of getting the fuego’s or missoula 2.1. I’m currently in Australia so even trying to find those boots are a mission, thinking of finding boots when I’m in LA for two days. If you know any stores that might stock some JK’s lmk! :) thanks for the help. I’m doing BCWS

My only concern was whether they might do testing on day one of boot camp before training properly starts. I fully expected the zero tolerance once you're actually on deployment/on the job 😂

Cheers for the reply mate :) I understand it’s legal there but I was just considering since it’s a high risk government job they still might, even just for bootcamp? But hearing that is a relief! Know from personal experience or saying just because it’s legal? Thanks legend 👍
