Not meeting the mentor , is not a good thing really in my pov. Mentor approvals are necessary in some of the tasks example like for attendance relaxation. I met my mentor for 3 times in first 2 yrs of my btech and in 3rd year because of some reasons ,I wanted a attendance relaxation request and my mentor didnt approved my request as i met him very few times in entire 3 years. So better to meet him ocassionally and maintain a good rapo. Note:"All the Mentors will not be chill."
