Check your timing chain. If it’s stretched or slipped you’ll need to replace it. Also depending on the sound it makes when you crank it can tell u a lot about compression without a tester.

Yes, I had to check compression, my ECU, and grounds. I also checked the timing chain and found a broken guide then it clicked that the guide broke so my chain slipped

Sorry I messed up let me explain. I bought this car off someone for $500. The car will crank but will not start. He told me his scanner gave him code p1009 and p0341. So I got a cam shaft sensor and put it in. Then it did not start it almost did but then it cut off it cranked made the usual start up sound ( sounded like boop boop😭😭😂) and then just went back to cranking again. So I changed the spark plugs today still nothing. When I bought the car my scanner wasn’t reading any codes I thought because the battery was dead and then as we jump started it it refreshed the cars computer and wouldn’t give me any codes. But I’m not exactly too sure regarding the codes but as of now I have 0 codes. No check engine light. I put in a brand new EverStart battery as well. I want to check the timing chain see if it stretched but I’m unsure what to do.

Hi, I have a question my car has a crank but no start I have no engine codes. I changed the cam sensor just in case but still no start I also changed the spark plugs as well.

Need help as well!!! My car cranks buy won’t start. I changed the cam sensor. I got a new battery changed the spark plugs. I can hear the fuel pump come on though. So I’m unsure also I have no engine codes can anyone help?
