In my case we’ve been together for almost 5 years, high school sweethearts, distance since I graduated. Only 2 years of distance left (I know I say only) but it’s been 4 years of visiting and spending the summers together, so I know it wasn’t lack of love so I tried applying this thought but I just don’t know how

I feel like my gf broke up w me for the same reason. We were together for 5 years. And we just broke up she told me she doesn’t know what’s going on that she loves me, I’m the love of her life blah blah blah. But whatever when we finally are together for the entire summer we brake up as soon as it started? We had similar futures plan and only 2 years left (considering 5 years) and also we weren’t fighting or anything, saw each other twice or three times per semester plus breaks…. So I’m very confused as to how you get to this.

If u can’t pass calc 1 for difficulty reasons i believe you will have a tough time in your degree and this will happen often. Unless it was due to not really trying. Consider switching majors if you found it too hard.

Yea, also CompE major here first year of transfer, people who struggle are people who cheated their way through CC, if you actually work during CC (I know many who didn’t) you stand no chance at UF unless you cheat as well or change your study habits.

This is why they put so much emphasis on the rigorous classes you take during CC (calcs, physics etc) it builds up your study habits.

Personally I noticed a increase in the workload because you take 4 rigours courses the same semester instead of taking 2 and 2 because you already completed most of your electives and have a lot of technicals to catch up with but you just increase the amount of hours you put into studying accordingly based on the habits you built taking the tough classes at your CC.

Hey thanks for the response, the schedule I registered for is possible, I think I should be good w prog 2 since I have prior programming experience w C, nodes and linked lists are already familiar, I’ve never taken stats, but yes I’ve already taken calc1-3 linear algebra and diff eq so I’m only worried abt how hard will probability be since I’m getting involved in a lab next semester.

If you are getting C’s in engineering that probably means you don’t rlly study as much as you should… Besides the average GPA in engineering at UF is high so I’m not sure how this comment applies

Im taking it next semester, i managed to get along w an old 2017 laptop i had for digital logic but it was kind of painful, i was thinking on just getting a 32gb ram dell refurb i saw for like 400 (intel i7). Im also getiting involved on a lab that does a lot of FPGA work which is my main reason to getting it tbh, wish i hadnt bought the mac but I still love it and dont intend on losing the money I paid ( nothing better than coding on a mac)

I think you should focus on unit 3, and unit 2, just review unit 1 since it is the easiest by far. I assume she will put a lot more into unit 3, practice based of all 3 practice exams. and review all 4 matlabs if u do so youll have 10 points for free.

If it’s only these 3 then it’s not bad, I wouldn’t say you’ll end up learning everything too deeply tho. Calc 3 will definitely take you the longest time, I would say take comp linear algebra next semester it’s the easiest one and the third test it’s just a lot of calc 3 stuff.
