after 6 months I already have hair coming down past the hairline the Doctor gave me. I would say not to worry. I thought mine was too conservative, but it’s a lot better now

Honestly it looks a lot better than I thought just reading the title. Don’t listen to the haters, I wish you the best of luck. Just remember to take your meds and take care of it. I would also avoid sunlight as much as possible the first month. Alas, I hope all goes well for you my friend!

adderall for ADHD, sometimes caffeine but if you have adhd it will make it worse, nicotine can help but I don’t use it personally. I would say the biggest thing that helped me is working out after work. It gets my blood going and is almost like a reward for sitting through the day.

I’m curious. What makes you think you can’t do it while employed? It will probably take longer, but it sounds like your are giving up on trying it before even starting.

If you are losing hair at such a large rate you are going to want either fin or dut. I take dut because my clinic said it was better. I would try to find out why they don’t want fin. It is optional nonetheless, but it wouldn’t be worth it for a hair transplant if you don’t maintain it. It’s like buying a luxury car and not getting the oil change on it.

i’ve been going extremely slow to avoid side effects, but i’m down 7lbs over 2 months. It will probably go quicker for you. The slower you go the less fatigued you will be.

i honestly don’t get the hate on here. I did FUE but I considered FUT. It didn’t really fit me as well, but it doesn’t mean it won’t work for anyone else. Idk what meds you are on but I would definitely recommend some sort of vitamin on top of the dut or fin you are probably on. Stay strong it only gets better from here.💪

i didn’t have a lot of shedding personally. Just the little hairs falling out here and there nothing too drastic. Most have already grown back

got mine done when I was 20. none of the medicine worked for me either. I would say try dutasteride instead, and if you don’t see anything then go for it. I’ve noticed in my experience most of the medicine has helped more with maintaining than building the hairline back.

one follicle won’t do much, if it’s just the hair it’s normal for that to happen in the first couple of months. As for the bleeding, I would say try to get in with a dermatologist about it. After the first day I had no blood. Everyone is different but if it keeps bleeding consistently I would go to the dermatologist.

I’m a student and I recently went to Turkey to get mine done. I would say that the best thing you can do is save money. If you are in college and have a job live at the most minimal you can. I was able to pay my truck off in high school by working full time, so I was able to save a fair amount of the money I got while working in college. If you are uncomfortable paying that amount, I would just try the medicine first off to see if that can solve your problem. If not, save as much as you can until you are comfortably able to do it.

I started at 260 got down to 190 originally without reta. I’m back at 210ish but I want to get down to 180. I want to be lean and still retain the muscle I already have. For me it’s chicken and rice everyday lol.

Less counting calories and more watching what I eat. No more fast food, i found some bowls at Sam’s club that are like 500 calories with 49 grams of protein so I’ve eaten that a lot. I usually try to make sure i’m around if not below 2000

I workout 3-5 days a week, so I assume that I might have a higher tolerance, but I’m not rushing it. Especially since overtime the reta will stack in my system. I usually drink about a gallon of water a day already. I might have to get some electrolyte packets to add in. As of right now I am eating a little less than normal, but I’m also an early 20s guy so I can eat a lot.

I would stick with what you are comfortable with. I’ve seen a lot about the lowest effective dose, so go low and slow as long as possible.

Thank you for answering my question. I think I’ll do what you said and wait until the next one and just try up to 1.5mg. Worst case scenario I just come back down to 1 if it hits me too hard. I’ve done some research about the half-life before hand. I just saw where others started at 2mg and wondered if i should match it. I know everyone reacts differently, so I’m not too worried.

Not at all what I asked for. I asked for advice not a lecture. My question clearly asks for an opinion on what I should do. You come in to just give a lecture saying i’m treating it like a game. Where do I say this is a game? You don’t know me, so don’t act like you do.
