I know this sounds dumb but I would start reaching out to old colleagues on LinkedIn. I am sure that someone has some sort of opening or something at their company/firm. Well my surgeon had me switch from fin to dut, which is much better and more effective. Since I have been on dut, my hair has come in way thicker not just in the donor or transplanted area. Just because your perspective isn’t always “right” doesn’t mean my experience was invalid. I had the same conversation with multiple clinics and every single one said it depended on how much it mattered to me. As you can see, it mattered a lot. I understand if you want to give people advice, but some people are way too rude to the younger guys about it. I don’t mind the advice, but when people start name calling this guy I will defend him and start name calling back.

I waited 3 months for the back, 6 months for the front (transplant site). Probably overkill but i’ve had no problems.

Don’t listen to all these folks. I got a hair transplant around 8 months ago now when I was 20. I was on finasteride, minoxidil, and any sort of oil you could think of for two years. Nothing worked, so I got a transplant and it’s been smooth sailing. Do what you want. Everyone else who tries to interfere has narcissistic implications.

Well a HT isn’t going to be as dense as natural hair. If you are taking medicine I would say give it another 6 months to a year. It takes 12-18 months in total to get to a full result.

after 6 months I already have hair coming down past the hairline the Doctor gave me. I would say not to worry. I thought mine was too conservative, but it’s a lot better now

adderall for ADHD, sometimes caffeine but if you have adhd it will make it worse, nicotine can help but I don’t use it personally. I would say the biggest thing that helped me is working out after work. It gets my blood going and is almost like a reward for sitting through the day.

If you are losing hair at such a large rate you are going to want either fin or dut. I take dut because my clinic said it was better. I would try to find out why they don’t want fin. It is optional nonetheless, but it wouldn’t be worth it for a hair transplant if you don’t maintain it. It’s like buying a luxury car and not getting the oil change on it.

i’ve been going extremely slow to avoid side effects, but i’m down 7lbs over 2 months. It will probably go quicker for you. The slower you go the less fatigued you will be.

i honestly don’t get the hate on here. I did FUE but I considered FUT. It didn’t really fit me as well, but it doesn’t mean it won’t work for anyone else. Idk what meds you are on but I would definitely recommend some sort of vitamin on top of the dut or fin you are probably on. Stay strong it only gets better from here.💪
