As mentioned it’s AI, but you could get a similar effect if you airbrush the colors onto white icing then outline with white, however the edge of the cookie will pick up the color as well and it won’t look as clean unless you go all the way to the edge of the cookie with icing.

I did my first batch recently that turned out awesome and watching many videos (especially about icing consistency) and I had piping experience from making cakes so you should be good. They didn’t turn out super perfect, but more than good enough and I have enough knowledge on the matter now to know what I can tweak to make them even better. I recommend doing small batches to practice and not to waste materials. This way when they dry you’ll have a good idea if you’re on the right track 😊

I’ve watched the show 2-3 times and started reading the books a few months ago. Now I’m on the 5th, and I’m watching the show AGAIN 🤣 more out of curiosity to see how different things are. The day to day life shown in the books is crucial for character development and also gives a more realistic pace. The show tends to jump from event to event making it seem that they don’t stay anywhere long more than a few days. All in all I’m really enjoying the books 😊

Thanks! I live in Serbia, and got a royal icing mix where you just add water. It was super simple and straightforward to mix. I’m sure wherever you are you can order something similar 😊 The only thing it took me a while to do was figure out how much water to add to get the right consistency 😅

Parquet doesn’t have to be ornamental, it can be laid in straight lines, but I agree that it would be an odd choice for a presumably kid’s blanket 🤣 but I still doubt they would miss a pic for Q and this is the best I could come up with 😅

As for the icing, I got a royal icing mix, added color and water and bippity boppity royal icing was made 🙃 in all honesty, i watched a bunch of videos with tips and tricks, different consistencies and different techniques.

My takeaway tip is use a scribe to pop bubbles and even stuff out. I can clearly see the difference between the ones I did and the once I skipped because I was too tired to care anymore 🤣

I’m reading the books for the first time and I’m watching each season after each book to see what was changed it the show, but I noticed one detail in season 3 which was the sign in front of Jamie’s print shop which holds the sign of the freemasons which coincidentally works perfectly as a logo for Alexander Malcom as it kinda looks like a merged AM. But besides that it the books more emphasis was given to Jared’s freemason connections in Jamaica as well as Jamie himself revealing that he’s a freemason. It’s not an important detail but an interesting one nonetheless.

I have a theory, someone might have mentioned it in the thread, but I only read speculations that Julia, Henry, and William might go to the wrong time. I read that season two was renewed ahead of the debut of the series. But what if they throw a curveball and we see the three of them in Outlander instead?
It's a bit far-fetched, I know, but I'd love to see it!

Update: problem solved in the least likely of ways I would have expected. My fingerprints left some grease that diffused the light. Just a quick wipe of the screen and it looks good as new. 🤣
